Ryan Stephan leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and ranks second in Div. II with 24.6 points per game and ranks second in the league in field goal percentage at .615 (75-122). The Lakewood, Colo., native has 197 total points this season, fifth most of any Div. II player. Stephan has shown great range making 13 3-pointers this year, second most by a Maverick. He tied his career-high with 35 points at Chadron State.Â

Jerry Duckworth scored a career-high 27 points, including a career-high seven 3-pointers, in the win at Black Hills State. The Federal Way, Wash., natives previous career-high for points was 20 against Dallas Baptist early this year and his career-high for 3-pointers was five at Montana Western last season. He ranks second on the team in points (12.6) and ranks third in the RMAC with 3.0 3-pointers per game.Â
3-Pointers
Colorado Mesa leads the RMAC in both 3-pointers (9.4) and 3-point field goal percentage (41.9).
Jerry Duckworth leads the team with 24 3-pointers, while
Ryan Stephan has 13. Nine different Mavericks have made a 3-pointer this season.
Free Throws
Colorado Mesa made a season-high 15 free throws in the win at Black Hills State. The Mavericks shot 78.9-percent from the line which was also a season-high. CMU is shooting 69.8-percent from the line this season, seventh best in the RMAC.Â
Steals
The Mavericks recorded a season-high seven steals at Chadron State.
Julian Vasquez tallied three steals in the game, the most by a Maverick player this season.Â
