Rugby Falls in Conference Final

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's rugby team fell 19-0 to Utah Valley in the Rocky Mountain Rugby Conference Championship Sunday (Nov. 2).

The Mavericks advanced to the championship with a 33-10 win over Utah State.

Jennifer Keyes, Shelby Meyer, Brianna Kassebeer, Sophie Rohkamper and Ashley Tackman each recorded one try in the match. Ashley Tackman kicked five conversions.

With the loss, CMU's fall season has come to an end.
