Senior Jordan Chomko led the Mesa men's team to three victories in Kearney, NE. MSC defeated Hastings (NE) 9-0, Neb.-Omaha, 9-0 and Minnesota State Mankato, 5-1.
Chomko went undefeated in singles (3-0) and doubles (3-0) dropping just five games in six sets of singles action. Number two player Rashad Kahmis, Nick Provenza (#4) each posted 3-0 singles record and Niko Carrizo (#6) finished 2-0 in singles. The Mavs 5-1 win over Mankato was called once the dual was clinched. MSC's #5 player Brason Hollabaugh was in his match and Carrizo had yet to begin.
MSC will begin RMAC play this weekend on the road. The Mavs will play at Colorado Christian and at CSU-Pueblo. MSC will play Grand Canyon in a non-conference matchup and close out the weekend against Montana State Billings.
