GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- After returning home from Texas, the Colorado Mesa University women's soccer team will hit the road once again as they travel to Washington for a two-game slate against Western Oregon and Seattle Pacific at Interbay Stadium.
The Mavs will play Western Oregon on Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. and then play Seattle Pacific on Sept. 12 at 12 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on the GNAC Network (paid subscription required) and have live stats.
Week in Review
The Mavs opened their 2026 campaign against Midwestern State and the 18th ranked Texas Woman's. They would come up short in both, losing to the Mustangs 2-0 and the Pioneers 1-0.

Jenelle Arenibas leads the team in shots with five.

Katelyn Romano and
Coral Turner have also registered a shot on goal.
Keely Wieczorek started in goal for both games and made eight total saves while
Brynnlee Williams would get some time in net and make a save while conceding no goals.
About Western Oregon
Thursday's match will mark the third time that the Mavs will take on the Wolves, with the Mavs owning a 1-1 record against them. The last time these two teams played was in 2022, where the Wolves would come out on top 3-2. The Wolves come into the match with a 1-1-1 record with their lone win coming against Chico State 1-0. They would falter against the number 12 ranked Colorado School of Mines and draw against the University of Mary.
Forward Kyra DiBenedetto has had a great start the season putting up a goal and an assist to start off her season, she also leads the team in points with three. Kassie Carpenter and Abby Doyle have also scored a goal to begin the season with Charlotte Barton and Grace Townsend tacking on an assist each. Goalkeeper Ayanah Soon has made 18 saves in her three starts, only conceding three goals to start off the season.
About Seattle Pacific
Saturday's match will be the first time the Mavs have faced off against the Falcons of Seattle Pacific. The Falcons have started the season perfect, winning their first three matches against Chico State, Jessup and Cal State East Bay.
Forward Logann Dukes and defender Ashlyn Valdovinos lead the team in goals with two while Sophie Hanay leads the team in assists (3) and points (5) while also tacking on a goal. Goalkeeper Landry Schoennauer has started all three games and has made 12 saves.
Take a Look Ahead
After two games in Washington, the team will remain on the road to open RMAC play against Colorado Christian and MSU Denver. The Mavs will play the Cougars on Sept 18. at 10 a.m. and the Roadrunners on Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m.
