GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- After a successful Seattle trip, the Colorado Mesa University women's soccer team will travel to the Denver area to open up RMAC play against Colorado Christian and MSU Denver.
The Mavs will take on the Cougars on Sept. 18 at Trailblazer Stadium, kickoff is set for 10 a.m. They will then play the Roadrunners on Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m. inside Assembly Athletic Complex. Both games will be livestreamed on the RMAC Network (paid subscription required) and will have live stats available.
Week In Review
Making a trip to the Pacific Northwest, the Mavs took on Western Oregon and Seattle Pacific at Interbay Stadium. The Mavs came out on top in both games, beating the Wolves 1-0 and the Falcons 2-0.
Parker Mairs scored in both games, making her the leading scorer for the Mavs while
Ellie Duncan scored her first goal of the season in the game against the Falcons. Duncan,
Mari Ige,
Jenelle Arenibas and
Ella Speerschneider all tallied their first assists of the season as well.
Keely Wieczorek held both teams scoreless and totaled six saves.

The Cougars play the Mavs for the 45th time, with Mavs owning a 31-9-4 record against them. Last year's match saw the Mavs come out on top 1-0. The Cougars this year have an overall record of 1-2-3 with their lone win coming against Chaminade. They also drew against Fort Hays State and Southwestern Oklahoma State. Alexis Byrd leads the team in goals with three while the ensemble of Brooke Berens, Danel Hach, Olivia Martin and Noelle Mingo all have an assist. Kenzie Kunitz has started five goals in goal and has made 14 saves on the year.

Sunday's matinee match will be the 51st time these two teams have played, with the Roadrunners possessing a 28-20-2 record over the Mavs. Their match last year saw the Mavs beat them 2-0 in Grand Junction. This season, the Roadrunners own a 1-2-3 record with a win against Fort Hays State and draws against Angelo State and Central Washington. Grace Johnson is the team leader in goals with three while Sandra Swartz leads the team in assists with two. The goalkeeper duo of Kiley Hyde and Morgan Shirley have made 16 total saves, with Hyde making four and Shirley 12.

The Mavs will play their first home game of the season as they take on Fort Lewis on Sept. 25. Kickoff is set of 7 p.m. inside Community Hospital Unity Field.
