COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Led by Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year
Avery Irlbeck, the Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team placed three members on the first team and had three second team picks as well aa pair of honorable mention selections to the all-conference teams which were announced on Thursday in advance of this afternoon and evening's RMAC Tournament Semifinals.
Irlbeck was joined on the first team by defenders
Sophie Astone and
Monroe McClimans. Goalkeeper
Heather Hawkins, attack
Carson Dickey and defender
Olivia Turk all earned second team honors while
Devon Morris and
Courteney Murray received honorable mention plaudits.
All of the awards were selected by a vote of the conference's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own athletes nor themselves in the RMAC Coach of the Year balloting.
Irlbeck, a sophomore from Stillwater, Minnesota, is CMU's primary draw control taker and leads the team with 51. She has also scored ten goals while adding two assists on 23 shots, 19 of which have been on target. She is the second straight Maverick to earn the Midfielder of the Year award after
Ali Bryant won it in both 2022 and 2025.
Astone, a senior from Littleton, Colorado, is second on the team with 45 draw controls and leads the team with 20 caused turnovers. She also has 28 ground balls. McClimans, who also hails from Littleton, has 34 ground balls and has caused 18 turnovers.
Hawkins, a sophomore from Palmer Lake, Colorado, ranks second in the RMAC with her 10.33 goals against average and .456 save percentage. She has made 144 saves this season, just 12 shy of the CMU single-season record. She was a First Team All-RMAC pick and the conference's goalkeeper and freshman of the year in 2025.
Dickey, a senior from Murrieta, California, leads the Mavs with 31 goals ad 37 offensive points. She recorded five hat tricks and nine multiple-goal games this season also has 27 draw controls and 24 ground balls. Dickey was a Second Team All-RMAC pick as a sophomore in 2024 and recently became just the sixth Maverick to surpass the 100-career goal milestone.
Turk, a senior from El Dorado Hills, California, has started all 68 of the Mavs' games throughout her 4-year career, including 17 this season. She is tied for second on the CMU squad with 18 caused turnovers and has recorded 29 ground balls this season after earning Honorable Mention All-RMAC plaudits as a junior in 2025.
Morris, a senior from Davis, California, is second on the CMU squad behind Dickey with 23 goals and added nine assists. She recorded her first four career hat tricks in consecutive games between Mar. 27-Apr. 3, a stretch in which the Mavs won three times.
Murray was also honored by the RMAC in 2025 as a second team all-conference pick. She has 15 ground balls, eight caused turnovers, nine goals and five assists this season as one of the more versatile Mavs.
The Mavericks will make their 12
th straight appearance in the RMAC Tournament on Thursday afternoon as the No. 4 seed. They will take on nationally-ranked and top-seeded Regis at 4 p.m. in the first semifinal game at the Rangers' Turf Field.
