The Mavericks will close out the home portion of their schedule on Saturday when they take on No. 17 Chadron State at 4 p.m. Six Maverick seniors, including Carranza and Samuelson will be recognized before that dual.
The Eagles dropped a 20-18 heartbreaker at Western Colorado in Gunnison on Thursday and have now dropped two straight while falling to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the RMAC while likely seeing a chance at a share of the RMAC crown dashed by the un-ranked Mountaineers.
