GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.— Coming off a dominant team victory in South Dakota, the Colorado Mesa University women's golf team will look to wrap up the fall season with another solid effort at the Las Vegas Desert Classic, which begins Friday at the Boulder Creek Golf Course in the Sin City suburb of Boulder City, Nevada.

Shotgun starts are slated for 8 a.m. PDT (9 a.m. Mountain) on each of the three days.
Missouri-St. Louis is the host school.

Schools from all four time zones in the contiguous United States will also compete.
The field includes five teams ranked inside the top ten of the current
SCOREBOARD Powered by clippd NCAA Division II rankings and another six ranked inside the top 50.
Top-ranked Dallas Baptist, the defending national champions, are also one of four teams in the field who were amongst the eight squads to reach the medal match portion of last year's national championships. That group also includes No. 10 Cal State San Marcos, the team the Patriots beat in the semifinal round, as well as No. 3 ranked St. Mary's and No. 19 Missouri-St. Louis.
Eighth-ranked Lincoln Memorial are also in the field along with No. 21 Point Loma, No. 25 Cal State-LA, No. 39 Washburn, No. 43 Westminster and No. 47 Cal State Monterey Bay.

The states of California and Texas both have four representatives while Missouri has two in the hosts and Central Missouri. Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah and Tennessee all have one representative each.
First Win Results in RMAC Honor
Hayden Hawley's victory at the Hardrocker Fall Invite was the first of her collegiate career and helped the sophomore out of Thornton claim
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 15.
Hawley now has three top ten finishes this season and leads the Mavs with her 77.22 scoring average this season.
Top Tens
The Mavericks had four players finish amongst the top ten at the Hardrocker Fall Invite, marking the first time this season that the Mavs had as many top finishers in the same tournament.
McKenzie Dolph,
Libby Bourassa and
Allison Sanger all recorded the first top ten finish of their respective seasons. Dolph and Sanger also registered the first of their careers while Bourassa picked up her second career top ten finish.
Second 54
The upcoming tournament will be the Mavs' second 54-hole event of the fall season. They also played a 3-day, 54-hole event to open the season at the Travis Roy Memorial Invitational, posting a score of 961 (+97) between Sept. 13-15.
The Mavs did not play a 54-hole tournament in 2025-26 as the RMAC Championships were officially shortened to 45 holes after high winds forced the cancelation of the final nine holes during the third and final round.
Extensive Travelers
The Mavericks' five tournaments this fall are in five different states. The Mavericks have already ventured to Wyoming, Utah and South Dakota and stayed in Colorado for their first four tournaments.
Up Next
The Mavericks' fall season will be complete following the tournament. They have not yet released their spring schedule, which will be posted on
