COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released the week seven player of the week awards this afternoon with Colorado Mesa's Ty Allred earning recognition once again as he was named the offensive player selection.

Allred now earns this award in back-to-back weeks with him owning the week six pick as well. Allred was also named the defensive player in the last award release.

Allred earns this week's selection after leading the Mavericks to a strong 90-62 victory over Regis University this last Saturday in which he scored a game-high 26 points while adding nine rebounds.

From the field Allred was an efficient 9-for-14 while going 5-for-7 from three-point range. He scored 21 of his points in the second half with him now owning five games this season to score 20 or more points.

Allred is averaging 18.3 points per game this season to rank fourth in the RMAC while being the leader in the rebounding category at 9.3 boards per game.

Alex Romack of Colorado School of Mines was picked at the week seven defensive player of the week.

Colorado Mesa heads to New Mexico Highlands and Adams State this week as they continue their return to conference play in the second half of their season.
