GREENWOOD, Ind.— Colorado Mesa University's
Trek Keyworth and
Kash Bradley were both named to the NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Football Team as selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Keyworth was first team honoree at the wide receiver position while Bradley picked up second team honors at the defensive back spot while becoming the first Maverick football student-athlete to ever earn three career honors.
Keyworth, a redshirt sophomore out of Windsor, Colorado, was the Mavs' top wide receiver with 38 catches for 645 yards and five touchdowns. He had three 100-yard games. Academically, he has a 3.79 GPA while majoring in business administration. He was one of just two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference players named to the First Team Academic All-America® unit.
Bradley, a senior exercise science major with a 3.90 GPA, hails from Bushland, Texas. He was fourth on the 2025 Maverick squad with 52 total tackles and led the team with three interceptions despite missing two games due to injury in 2025. He had also picked up First Eam Academic All-America® honors in 2024 and third team plaudits as a sophomore in 2023.
Keyworth and Bradley were amongst the eight Maverick football players who had been named to the NCAA Division II Academic All-District® Team and were advanced to the national ballot, which was voted upon by CSC members.
At a minimum, student-athletes must have a 3.50 or higher cumulative GPA and be at least a sophomore, both academically and athletically to be nominated for the Academic All-District accolades. They must have also played in 90 percent of their team's games or start 66 percent of them.
