2025 Roster | 2025 Schedule
  • The new-look Mavericks will play host to Utah State-Eastern in a Monday afternoon "First Day of School" scrimmage at 4 p.m. inside Brownson Arena.
  • Monday's event will give local fans the chance to see new head coach Austin Albert's squad, which includes 11 new faces on the court, including six transfers and five freshman.
  • 2023 RMAC Defensive Player of the Year Allison Waller is back to lead the group of eight returners
  • The Mavs will also play an exhibition match at Division I Utah Valley on Friday evening at 6 p.m. in Orem, Utah
  • CMU will also host a public intrasquad scrimmage next Saturday (Aug. 30) at 2 p.m. to close out the preseason.

  • The Mavericks have been picked seventh in the RMAC's Preseason Coaches' Poll.
  • Marc Bonafre has been named to the Preseason All-RMAC squad, made up of the top returning players from last year's All-RMAC voting process.
  • He led the 2024 edition of the Mavericks in both goals (4) and assists (7).
  • Jon Fridal is beginning his sixth year as the Mavs' head coach.
  • They will play a pair of home scrimmages this week at Community Hospital Unity Field, taking on Utah State-Eastern on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. and Real Colorado-ECNL on Saturday at Noon. 
Women's Soccer

  • The Maverick women, coming of back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances, have been picked third in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
  • The Mavs are starting their second year under the direction of head coach Jody Lingatfeldt, who led the Mavs to a 14-2-4 overall and 11-1 RMAC record a year ago.
  • The Mavs have also been tabbed 22nd in the United Soccer Coaches' Preaseon Top 25 Poll
  • Three Mavs in Keely Wieczorek, Ally Wachtel and Sarah Dunn were named to the Preseason All-RMAC team, made up made up of the top returning players from last year's All-RMAC voting process.
  • Wieczorek was named as the 2024 RMAC Goalkeeper of the Year and will enter the her 2025 junior season tied for the top spot in CMU history for career shutouts (20)
  • The Mavs scrimmaged Utah State-Eastern on Sunday and will play another scrimmage at MSU Denver on Wednesday evening in Denver before closing out the preseason with a third scrimmage next Tuesday (Aug. 26) against Utah State-Eastern

  • The Mavs, coming off a 7-4 season in 2024, were picked fourth in the RMAC's Preseason Coaches' Poll, released on Aug. 1 in conjunction with the RMAC Media Day.
  • Senior Kash Bradley was the lone Maverick named to the Preseason All-RMAC team as a kick and punt returner
  • The Mavs will open the 2025 campaign, their fourth under head coach Miles Kochever, nest Thursday (Aug. 28) in Ellensburg, Washington against Central Washington, ranked 21st in the AFCA Division II Preseason Top 25 poll.
  • The Mavs received a vote in that poll.

Triathlon
 
2025 Roster | 2025 Schedule
  • The Mavs will open their season on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Southern Hills Triathlon in Hot Springs, South Dakota
  • The Mavs will then team up with the Grand Junction Sports Commission to host the Desert's Edge Triathlon Series on the weekend of Sept. 13-14.
  • The collegiate sprint race, CMU's lone home event of the season, will feature the Mavs going head-to-head with several other NCAA programs on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 a.m. at and around Highline Lake State Park in Loma.
  • Fourth-year head coach Jen Mathe returns seven and welcomes in five new faces to this year's roster
RMAC Network News
  • The RMAC Network has moved to a pay-pre-view model for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
  • This season, all RMAC athletic events broadcast by its 15 full-member institutions and associate members will only be available for purchase via a single-game pass or a monthly or annual subscription. Revenue generated by the network will be redistributed to the league's membership to enhance their programs.
  • RMAC fans can purchase monthly and annual subscriptions that will provide them access to all regular-season, championship, and archived broadcasts on the RMAC Network. A monthly subscription costs $25, and an annual subscription costs $130. Single-game passes are available for $10, which grants access to a single game for 24 hours.
  • Additionally, a discounted annual subscription price will be available to students, faculty, and staff of each member institution throughout the year. Purchasing options and pricing for individual RMAC Championships will be announced closer to each event.
