GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released its preseason coach's poll and preseason All-RMAC team this afternoon for Men's Soccer with Colorado Mesa being selected to finish seventh in the league..

In each year's preseason poll each of the conference's 11 program's coaches come together to vote on projections without getting to vote for their own school.

This year Colorado Mesa earned 46 points in the voting with 100 being the maximum anyone could earn. They finished the 2024 season with a 5-10-2 record.

UCCS was voted as the #1 team in the poll earning 93 points. Fort Lewis (91 points) and Regis (89 points) followed closely behind as the #2 and #3 voted teams. CSU Pueblo was voted in at fifth place with 79 votes. Each of the top four schools earned at least one first place vote.

The Preseason All-RMAC Team was also selected and is determined by placing returning players in order of head coaches' voting from the league's 2024 All-RMAC Teams.

The Mavs begin their season on Sept. 5 when they host the Colorado Mesa Men's Soccer Showcase and take on Midwestern State University at Community Hospital Unity Field. More information and tickets can be found online at cmumavericks.com
