Arrieta earns NFCA All-America Honors

CHATANOOGA, Tenn. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association released their 2025 Division II All-America Teams this afternoon at the NCAA Division II Championship banquet with Colorado Mesa University's Myah Arrieta being recognized.

Arrieta was named as a third team member in this year's release with her being one of 56 student athletes represented from 43 different institutions. In addition, she is one of only three players from the RMAC to be represented. In the South Central region alone there were 13 members with 10 of them being from the Lone Star Conference.

The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association's All-America Committees. In Division II, the committee is comprised of one member head coach from each of the NCAA's eight regions. All student-athletes who were nominated by a member head coach and voted to the first- or second-team All-Region squads were eligible for All-America consideration.

Arrieta finished this spring batting .400 with a team leading 78 hits as she was one of the conference's top leadoff hitters. She totaled 14 doubles, 18 home runs and 62 RBIs with each category being top five in the RMAC. In program history she is in the top five in home runs, slugging percentage and RBIs. She was named to First Team All-RMAC, NFCA Second Team All-Region and D2CCA Second Team All-Region prior to being named an All American in 2025.

In her career she is now a two-time NFCA All American recipient after being an at-large First Team member at short stop in 2024.
