COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following her selection as an All-RMAC pick just a day ago, Colorado Mesa University's Ally Distler picked up another accolade on Thursday morning as she has been named as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Summit Award Winner for softball in 2025.

Distler is now a two-time winner of this award after being selected as the Summit Award Winner last year as well.

The RMAC Summit Award is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA who is competing at the championship site amongst other requirements.

Distler holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in her career with her currently in graduate school for physical therapy. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology.

In addition, Distler was named as the RMAC Academic Player of the Year in 2024 and 2022 and went on to be named as a CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-American in both seasons as well.

This season Distler has been top power threat in the RMAC totaling 15 home runs which is best for second in the conference. In her career she has hit 59 home runs which ranks her second all-time in program history and is only three away from tying the school record.

She has also recorded 12 doubles this season with 53 RBIs while ending the regular season batting .312.

She was selected as a utility player to the All-RMAC First Team yesterday.

Distler formally received her award in pre-game ceremonies before the Mavs' RMAC Tournament opener this morning at 11 A.M. at All Star Park.
