COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced the All South Central Region Women's Soccer Teams this afternoon with Colorado Mesa earning four selections.
Leading that group is Junior goalkeeper Keely Wieczorek as she earned First Team honors with three others being named to the Second Team. Those three include Kylie Wells, Ally Wachtel and Olivia Barrett.
In total there were 12 players from the RMAC to be represented on the teams with Colorado Mesa's four selections being tied for second most from any institution.
Athletic communication professionals from the NCAA Division II South Central Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all‐region teams. The process concludes with All‐American selections that will be announced in December.
Wieczorek was selected to the First Team and earns her first ever pick to All-Region in this release as she ended the 2025 season starting 19 of the 20 games. She accumulated 53 saves with a .914 save percentage while being a part of the national leading team for save percentage (.906) and shutout percentage (.750). She allowed just five goals on the year, with only four of them coming against Division II opponents.
In addition, her efforts and the Maverick defense recorded 15 shutouts for a new program record while not allowing a single goal in conference play which has never been done before. Wieczorek was named as the conference's Goalkeeper of the Year while also being a First Team All-RMAC selection.
Wells, Wachtel and Barrett were all named to the Second Team on this year's list with two of them being key defenders in the dominant CMU defense.
Wachtel was one of those defenders, totaling 1,768 minutes for second most among all players. She recorded one goal and one assist on the season while helping anchor the Mavs defense that is still No. 1 in the nation for goals against average (0.297).
Barrett joins her as another defender, totaling 1,573 minutes for fourth best on the team. She has scored two goals with two assists this year while also being a two-time RMAC Player of the Week recipient.
Both were selections to the First Team All-RMAC, with this also being the second straight year Wachtel earns D2CCA All-Region honors after being Second Team pick in 2024.
Wells was the final pick to the Second Team after being the Mavs top offensive performer this season, totaling nine goals with three assists to finish with 21 points for fourth most in the conference. She owned one brace while scoring four of her goals in conference play.
In her career, Wells finished with 22 goals and 10 assists for 54 total points. That sits as eighth best in program history.
Wells was also named to the First Team All-RMAC this season as well.
Colorado School of Mines' Bella Campos was selected as the South Central Region Player of the Year.
