CSU would get one back on the power play, but the Mavs would answer quickly as Junior Mason Ripley would fire one far side on a power play of their own. Sophomore Tristan Brooks would make a beautiful move towards the net and Hassenstab would finish the job making the Mavs lead 5-1.
