The Mavericks split their weekend games with Northern Arizona University this weekend in front of large crowds.

Friday the Mavericks dominated the game winning 5-1.  Goal scorers were: Jared Riley, Kevin Miller, Ethan Gotchey, and Eli Wilson with two.  Chirs McElroy was solid in net for the Mavericks again.

On Saturday for the 6^th Annual Pink the Rink Cancer Charity game in front of a massive crowd, the Mavericks took an early lead with goals from Miller and Collin Fitzgerald.  Penalty trouble in the 2^nd period led to a 3-2 NAU lead after the second frame. Although the Mavericks outshot NAU 56 to 36, they could not put the puck behind an outstanding NAU goaltender who made the difference in the game. The Mavs dropped the game 5-3.
