LOOKING AHEAD
No. 2 LINDENWOOD LIONS
Off to a hot 4-0 start on the season, the top-ranked Lindenwood Lions have held three of their last four opponents to just single digits. The only team to score double-digits was Regis back on Feb. 27, which was also the Lions only home game thus far. In that contest the Lions gave up 10 goals, but outscored the visiting Rangers by three to take home a big win.
Senior, Lexi Biller leads the team with 13 goals, scoring multiple goals in each of the games played – netting four goals in two games already this season. Paige Sutton is the other player with double-digit, sitting at 10, six of which came in the season opener against Northern Michigan.
Cam Holley has been a primary starter in goal, racking up 18 saves.
No. 3 UIndy GREYHOUNDS
Keeping pace with the other top-5 team the Mavericks will meet up with on their trip, the UIndy Greyhounds are enjoying an undefeated record thus far. They have held each of their last four opponents to no more than five points, while scoring 20 or more themselves in three of the four contests. As a team they have racked up 85 goals, while limiting opponents to a combined 11.
Senior, Abigail Lagos has 17 goals to her name, with a season and game high of seven against Queens (N.C.). Sophomore, Sarah Klien is credited with ten of the team's total, while also matching that with 10 assists to lead the team.
Cassidy King plays a big role in the goal, allowing just eight goals while recording 19 saves.
