GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa men's wrestling team won all six of the contested bouts in a 38-12 win over Dixie State in a dual in Brownson Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The Mavericks received two wins by forfeit to open the dual and take a 12-0 lead.
Erik Contreas picked up a pin at 141 pounds followed by a 6-3 decision win by Marcos Magana at 149 pounds that gave the Mavericks a 21-0 lead heading into a scheduled open spot in the Maverick lineup.
Tanner Tsinigine made his lineup debut and came away with a 5-0 win over Nick Guynn at 165-pounds.

Jason Bynarowicz pin followed by a
Kash Anderson technical fall and a
Gabe Carranza decision win closed out the dual for Colorado Mesa.
Dixie State received their only points in the dual off a forfeit at 157 pounds and at 174 pounds.
Colorado Mesa will head to the UNK Younnes Hospitality Open in Kearney, Neb. next weekend with nearly their entire roster scheduled to see action on the mat.
