Box Score DENVER, Colo. - In a nationally ranked matchup with two Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams that No. 12 Colorado Mesa Mavericks fell to No. 10 Regis University 23-10.  Five different Mavericks recorded goals and two finished with assists. Marissa Leonardi led the way for the Mavericks with three points and three goals while Olivia Hayden finished with two points. Leonardi recorded her sixth hat trick of the season while Hayden totaled two goals and grabbed seven ground balls. 
As a team the Mavericks took 26 shots and 17 shots on goal. In a category that the Mavericks rank second in the nation in they committed a season low eight caused turnovers. Hayden led the Mavericks with five caused turnvoers. Regis caused 20 turnovers and their Jessica Berg totaled four. 
The Rangers were led by Sarah Myres who finished with 10 points, eight goals and two assists. 
Lula Mitchell started in net for the Mavericks and totaled eight saves. Each team exchanged two goals to begin the game and reached a 2-2 score with 25:02 remaining in the first half. After that Regis outscored the Mavericks 11-1 and reached a 13-3 score with 6:30 remaining. The Mavericks scored four more goals during the first half but they still were at a 15-7 deficient as they entered the locker room. 
The Rangers scored the first goals of the second half which was followed by a goal from Hayden. After this the Rangers scored six straight goals in twenty-minutes before the Mavericks closed the game on with two consecutive goals to reach 10. This was the fewest amount of goals scored for the Mavericks this season.
