 2019 Mavericks

This year's roster includes ten seniors and 19 freshman with a schedule that features 11 road games.

These 11 games will take place either on the road or at a neutral site. The Mavs will play six consecutive games away from Walker Field to begin the season before their home opener on Mar 13 against Rollins College.

This six game road swing to open up the season matches a program record for consecutive road game that occurred in CMU's first season back in 2011. In that year the Mavs were also away from Walker Field for their first six games.

RMAC Honors

The Mavs were picked to repeat as RMAC Champions in the 2019 Preseason Coaches' poll receiving three of the four first place votes.

Four different Mavericks picked up Preseason Player of the Year honors.

Jack Griffin was picked to repeat as Midfielder of the Year while Remi Reeves was also picked to repeat as Goalie of the Year.

Last season Griffin was fifth in the RMAC for goals per game (2.27) and scored the second most goals on the team (34). Reeves was third in the conference with a 59.1 saves percentage and made 103 saves over the course of the season. He shared the preseason honor with Connor Johnson of Adams State.

Cole Smith and Ryder Clark earned Preseason Co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Grant Phillips of Westminster. Smith earned First Team All-RMAC last season after causing 10 turnovers and picking up 19 ground balls. Clark started in 18 games for the Mavericks and was also named First Team All-RMAC last season.

Brandon Wilson, Johnny Cary, Michael Marino and Nate Scully were all named to the Preseason All-RMAC team.

Seeking another Championship

The Mavericks are seeking their fourth straight RMAC Season Championship and Tournament Championship. They have won the past three years and for the first time in school history qualified last season for the NCAA Tournament.
