Colorado Springs, CO - The CMU Lady Mavs bounced back from their first loss of the season last weekend with a solid performance against Colorado College. This is the second time the team played CC this season, but it was a much improved CC squad taking on a injured patched together CMU team. The lady Mavs rose to the occasion with outstanding performances from Senior captain and 8man (scrumhalf today) Audrey Kachin, Senior prop Salina Edwards, Sophomore Center Shantae Reed, and Freshmen Flyhalf Princess Tafiti. Playing together the team was able to overcome the hurdles of the day and come out with a 28-10 victory on the road. The ladies are looking to use this momentum to push them into their next match, a non conference matchup at home, with BYU Bs on Sat. Oct. 19th.
