Colorado Mesa closed out its regular season in dominant fashion, traveling to Denver to face the University of Denver in its final regular-season matchup. The match drew an impressive crowd, with attendance surpassing that of any of the Mavericks' home matches this season.

The Mavericks rose to the occasion, delivering a strong offensive performance and finding the try zone early and often. Freshman standout Addison Schreuder led the scoring effort, recording her third hat trick of the season while adding five conversions as well. Juniors Kaylee Burns and Navaya Steele also joined the hat trick club, each turning in three-try performances.

Freshmen Caitilyn Williams and Ellie Gillman added two tries apiece, showcasing the depth and talent of CMU's rookie class. Veteran Chloe Coop and rookies Cici Dean and Carmen Johnson rounded out the scoring effort, contributing to the Mavericks' impressive offensive showing.

Despite the high-scoring performance and an undefeated regular season, the Mavericks know there is still work to be done. The team will look to fine-tune its execution and make key adjustments as it prepares for the postseason and the upcoming regional tournament.

The Mavericks return to action the weekend of November 13 for Regionals, with the tournament location still to be determined. Follow @cmuwomensrugby on social media for the latest updates on the team's postseason schedule and destination.
