Box Score LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team closed out the regular season with a 5-1 win over the Colorado Christian Cougars in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action. The two teams played to clinch as weather was moving into the area.
The Mavericks took two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead in the dual.
Lucas Martin and
Alain De La Bastide earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles over Pritchard and Cooper.
Mitchell Steadman and
Max Lindqvist earned the 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles over Rold and Bergman.
Lindqvist, Martin and
Daniel Ness all earned singles wins to clinch the dual victory.
Ness claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles over Rold.
The Mavericks will enter the RMAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed with the win and will play CSU-Pueblo at 1pm on Saturday at the Regency Athletic Complex.
