Colorado Mesa University is coming in hot after their 13-12 last second victory over Westminster College last week. They come in with one game this week against Johnson & Wales University (JWU), who enters the week with a winless 0-5 record.

th in the nation. They are currently the top seed in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) thanks to their perfect 2-0 conference record.

The Mavericks enter the matchup with two scorers with over 20 goals on the season in
Jack Griffin (23) and
Reece Callies (21). Both rank inside the top 10 in the conference I goals scored per game.

Both Griffin and Callies will hope to up those stats with the game this week against a team in JWU who is giving up 22 goals per game to their opponents. In their last game against Adams State, JWU allowed 27 goals to the Grizzlies.

As a team the Wildcats are led by Coleton Threlkeld who has five goals on the season. That is nearly half the total goals scored by the team this year (11).
