Box Score Colorado Mesa University was going for their third straight victory to open up the season, with Westminster as their opponent. It was a close one from the beginning to the end, but the Mavericks were able to pull out the win in the end 15-14.
 
With the win the Mavericks improve to 3-0 on the season as they prepare for RMAC play on March 12 against Oklahoma Baptist. CMU has three more games on the road before returning home on March 25.
