SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Colorado Mesa men's tennis team continued its Southern California spring break trip on Wednesday afternoon. The Mavericks fell to the Point Loma Nazarene Sea Lions 5-0 at the PLNUA Tennis Courts.
 
The two teams played to clinch with the Sea Lions nabbing all three singles bouts, leaving them having to just win two of the singles matches to take the bout.
 
Max Lindqvist and Mitchell Steadman had the closest contested doubles match at No. 3, falling 8-6 to Sea Lions CJ Erion and Grant Alston.
 
Nick Farmen and Daniel Ness fell in their singles matches. Farmen at No. 2 6-2, 6-2 and Ness at No. 6 6-4, 6-2.
 
The Mavericks fell to 4-13 on the season while Point Loma moved to 7-4.
 
Colorado Mesa will continue on their trip tomorrow with a match against San Diego Christian at 1pm.
