Women's Soccer Comes Home for Two Games

September 29 vs. Regis:
Mavericks are 5-1 in the last six games:

After losing their first two games of the season, CMU has found its stride over the last six games. Over the course of those games the Mavericks have outscored their opponents 9-4.
Top team in the RMAC:
The Rangers currently have the best record in the RMAC with a 5-1-2 record. They are also undefeated in conference play up to this point in the season. Regis has not lost a game since their first matchup of the season with Midwestern State University.
Last Season Matchup:
The Mavericks were unable to go down to Denver and come away victorious last season. Regis was able to put up three goals on the Mavericks, including scoring in the first 10 minutes of action.
All Time Record:
CMU has not fared well against the Rangers over their history. CMU is 10-29-4 overall against the Rangers and has not won a game since 2013.
Players to Watch:
Forwards Lauren Thompson and Maggie Saras are the players to watch in this one. Thompson is tied for the team lead with four points for the Mavericks. She also leads the team with 16 shots on the season. Saras leads the Rangers with six points off of three goals on the season.

October 1 vs. MSU Denver:
Shot for Shot:

CMU has played the season shot for shot with their opponents thus far into the season. The Mavericks currently have 103 shots on the season while their opponents have 102.
Back on Track:
After losing four in a row, the Roadrunners have since got back into the win column. The team has now won three in a row, all of which were clean sheet victories. 
Last Season Matchup:
Last season the Mavericks and the Roadrunners tied 0-0 after 120 minutes of action in the regular season matchup. The game was played in Denver where both teams had opportunities to score, but couldn't capitalize. MSU outshot the Mavericks 14-13 overall, but the Mavericks finished with one more shot on goal (5-4). When the teams met in the RMAC tournament, it was the Roadrunners that prevailed with a 1-0 win. The goal was scored in the 95th minute to end the Mavericks season.
All Time Record:
CMU currently sits with a 14-25-1 overall record against their RMAC rivals.
Players to Watch:
Forwards Alexis Allard and Reigna Banks are the players to watch in this one. Allard is coming off a weekend where she scored her second goal of the season in last minute fashion against Western State. Banks is currently second on the Roadrunners team in points with six, but she is ranks first in shots with 25.
