Colorado Mesa will close out the regular season with a game against conference rival Westminster on Saturday April 29.

Colorado Mesa repeated as Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season champions with the doubleheader sweep last weekend against CSU-Pueblo and Adams State. The Mavericks won the inaugural championship last season, winning a tiebreaker with Westminster.
REGIONAL RANKINGS
The Mavericks remain at No. 6 in this week's NCAA Regional Rankings. Limestone remained at No. 1 followed by Lenoir-Rhyne and Tampa. Wingate, who wasn't in the rankings last week, slid into the No. 4 spot followed by Belmont Abbey and then the Mavericks. The top four teams in the final rankings advance to the NCAA Tournament.
RMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior
Brady George was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after his play against CSU-Pueblo and Adams State. George caused seven turnovers and scooped up five groundballs in the weekend sweep.
SMARTS
Colorado Mesa had eight student-athletes named to the RMAC All-Academic team this week.
Austin Cromwell and
Calen Ketcham were named to the first team while

Flynn Ernst,
Scott Foster,
Chad Merrick and
Tristan Purdy all earned honor roll nods.
DEFENSE
The Mavericks defense is tops in the RMAC and top five nationally in both caused turnovers per game (11.07) and clear percentage (.902). Senior
Brady George ranks fifth in NCAA II in caused turnovers at 2.33 per game.
CONTROL THE CAGE
Sophomore
Remi Reeves continues to control opposing offenses. Reeves ranks first in the RMAC and 13th nationally in goals against average at 8.24 goals allowed per game.Â
LOOKING AHEAD
Colorado Mesa will host the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament at Walker Field beginning on Friday May 5. The Mavericks claimed the inaugural championship last season defeating Westminster in the championship match.
