Colorado Mesa was picked to win the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the second straight season. The Mavericks claimed the inaugural title last season, defeating Westminster in the RMAC Championship match.Â

The Mavericks will clinch at least a share of the RMAC regular season championship with a win on Friday against CSU-Pueblo and can clinch it outright with a win over both CSU-Pueblo and Adams State this weekend at Walker Field.
RMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior
Brady George was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week after their last round of RMAC games. George caused four turnovers and scooped up five groundballs in the win over RMAC rival Westminster. The senior has 28 caused turnovers and 37 groundballs on the year.

Colorado Mesa ranks second in scoring offense and third in scoring margin nationally. The Mavericks average 16 goals per game and are winning by an average of 8.69 goals per game. The nation's number one team, Limestone, leads both categories.

The Mavericks defense is tops in the RMAC and top ten nationally in both caused turnovers per game (11.15) and clear percentage (.894). Senior

Remi Reeves continues to improve as the season progresses. Reeves ranks first in the RMAC and 17th nationally in goals against average at 8.41 goals allowed per game.Â

Colorado Mesa will close out the regular season with a home matchup with Westminster at Walker Field. It will also serve as senior day as the Mavericks will honor their four seniors who will be playing in their final regular season home game.
