GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University women's tennis team finished the regular season with an 8-1 win over CSU-Pueblo Saturday (April 15).

The Mavericks finish the season second in the RMAC.

Katie and Kristen Kirby won 8-2 at No. 1 doubles to lead the Mavericks to a sweep of the doubles.

Kristen won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, and Katie won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3.

Emily Beckley won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Nicole Kitsuse won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5.

Georgia Hansen earned the win at No. 6 in three sets (3-6, 6-3, 10-7).

Colorado Mesa (10-11) will participate in the RMAC Tournament April 22.
