Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – Lindsi Peters scored five goals to lead the Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team to a 20-3 win over Adams State Saturday (March 4).

Olivia Hayden finished with four goals, and Hannah Payton notched three goals for CMU. The Mavericks had 13 players record a point in the match.

CMU dominated shots 31-6, and draw controls 20-5.

Goalie Kiersten Elder earned her first career win for CMU allowing two goals and making one save in 30 minutes of action. Jillian Pfeifer allowed one goal in 30 minutes of relief work.

The Mavericks led 14-2 at the half and out-scored the Grizzlies 6-1 in the second.

Colorado Mesa (2-1) will play at CSU-Pueblo March 12.
