Colorado Mesa will close out the regular season with six straight conference matchups beginning this weekend on the road. The Mavericks will take on Adams State on Friday before heading to Pueblo for a showdown with the ThunderWolves on Sunday.

Colorado Mesa was picked to win the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the second straight season. The Mavericks claimed the inaugural title last season, defeating Westminster in the RMAC Championship match.Â

The Mavericks returned to the national rankings this week, checking in at No. 18. The Mavericks are coming off the Florida trip where they defeated No. 20 Rollins and a strong Florida Southern team with their lone loss coming to No. 13 Tampa.Â

The Mavericks are tied for the nation's lead in scoring margin at 8.40. They are tied with Saint Leo followed by Lindenwood (8.11), Limestone (7.50) and Mercyhurst (7.11). The largest margin of victory this season was 22 when CMU defeated Notre Dame de Namur and Maryville.

Colorado Mesa ranks fourth in Div. II in caused turnovers per game at 11.50 a contest. Emmanuel (Ga.) leads the country at 14.63 per game.

Remi Reeves leads the RMAC and ranks 17th in the country in goals against average at 8.28. Reeves stopped a career-high 17 shots in the Mavericks win over Florida Southern.

Colorado Mesa will make their final regular season road trip when they travel to Salt Lake City to take on conference foe Westminster. The Griffins are currently unbeaten in the RMAC at 3-0 just a half game up on the Mavericks.
