PALM DESERT, CALIF. – The Colorado Mesa University men's tennis team earned an 8-1 win at the College of the Desert Saturday (March 18).
The Mavericks opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches.
Cody Freischlag and
Nicholas Farmen won 8-4 at No. 1, and Oliver Lindquist and
William Agritelley won 8-0 at No. 2. CMU won at No. 3 by forfeit.
The Mavericks won five of the six singles, including No. 5 and 6 by forfeit.
Dimitrije Vukovic earned the lone win for the Roadrunners defeating
Cody Freischlag 7-5, 6-2. Â
Max Lindquist defeated Jakob Dvorken 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2.
Nicholas Farmen won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, and
Lucas Martin won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.
Colorado Mesa (6-8) will play at Azusa Pacific Monday (March 20).
