Women's Lacrosse Hits the Road

Colorado Mesa will play its first road game of the season at CSU-Pueblo Sunday (March 12). The Mavericks have won two of their last three games, and the Thunderwolves have lost their only game they have played this season to Regis. 

Player of the Week
Lindsi Peters was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Monday (Feb. 7). Peters, a native of Oregon City, Ore., scored five goals on six shots in Colorado Mesa's 20-3 win over Adams State on March 3. She won four draw controls and two ground balls. Peters leads the team with 11 goals and 11 points.

Assists
Colorado Mesa leads the RMAC and ranks 10th in Div. II in assists per game at 8.67.

Between the Pipes
Jillian Pfeifer ranks second in the RMAC in both save percentage (.462) and goals against average (9.51). 

Caused Turnovers
Colorado Mesa leads the league and ranks seventh nationally in caused turnovers per game at 14.0. 

Halftime Lead
The Mavericks are 2-0 this season when leading at half and 0-1 when trailing at the break. 

Score First
Colorado Mesa has scored first in both of its wins this season with its opponent scoring first in its lone loss. 

Road Trip
Colorado Mesa will make its first road trip of the year this Sunday. Last year the Mavericks posted a 5-2 road record. The Mavericks are 2-1 this season at home.
