Mavs Head out on Final Road Trip

COACHING
Head coach Taylor Wagner is in his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 117-25 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 63-5 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.

DEFENSE
Colorado Mesa is 10-2 when they outshoot there opponents and 14-2 when they hold opponents under 70 points. 

RMAC LEADERS
Junior forward Ma'ata Epenisa and Bryanna Adams are among the RMAC leaders in field goal percentage, three-point percentage and scoring. Epenisa leads the RMAC in field goal percentage at 68.1 percent while Adams leads the RMAC in scoring at 18.4 points per game and three-point percentage at 43 percent.

LAST ROAD TRIP
The Mavericks will head out on their last road trip of the season this week when they travel to Alamosa and Durango to take on Adams State and Fort Lewis. 

STANDINGS
Colorado Mesa moved into a second place tie with UCCS after last week's sweep of Western State and Westminster. The Mavericks own the tiebreaker with UCCS but Regis lurks just a half-game back of them.

UP NEXT
The Mavericks will be home for the final three games of the regular season. They will play host to Black Hills State next weekend to start the three game home stand.
