SPEARFISH, S.D. – Colorado Mesa University posted three podium finishes on the final day of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday (Feb. 25).
D'Angelo Foster finished second in the 60 hurdles (8.26) and third in the heptathlon (5,000 points). His best score came in the 60 hurdles where he scored 913 points (8.28).
Ethen Besier finished sixth in the heptathlon with 4,411 points.
Mekayla Winchester broke her own school-record in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.67 to finish third.
Hannah McClure also broke her own school-record in the shot put with a toss of 41-4.25 to place fifth.
In the women's 400, Ally Tapp placed fifth (59.00) and Heidi Weber was seventh (59.59).
Tapp and Weber joined McKayla Thomas and Mekayla Winchester to finish seventh in the 4x400 in a time of 4:04.05.
Quincey Pedersen leaped 5-1.25 to finish eighth in the high jump.
Nathan Oglesby finished fourth in the 800 (1:54.65), and
Trevor Jensen was seventh in the shot put (51-2.25).
Both the men's and women's teams finished seventh in the team standings.
