Colorado Mesa will play its second consecutive home game of the year this Saturday (Feb. 25) against No. 17 Regis. 

Hat-Tricks
Colorado Mesa had three players record hat-tricks in last weeks win over Westminster. Lindsi Peters came off the bench and led the Mavericks with six goals. Amanda Geary and Jessica Cook each scored three.

National Leader
Colorado Mesa leads NCAA Div. II in caused turnovers with 21.0 per game. 

Ground Balls
The Mavericks scooped up 30 ground balls last week against the Griffins. CMU ranks second in Div. II in ground balls with 30. Concordia-St. Paul leads the nation averaging 34 ground balls. 

Big Win
Colorado Mesa defeated Westminster 18-8 in its home opener last weekend. The last time Colorado Mesa defeated a team by more than 10 goals was a 20-10 win over Westminster on April 23, 2016. 

Scoring Offense
The top-two scoring teams in the RMAC will square off this Saturday at Walker Field. Regis and Colorado Mesa are tied for the RMAC lead in scoring offense averaging 18.0 goals per game. 

Between the Pipes
Jillian Pfeifer earned her first win of the season making 13 saves and allowing eight goals. Pfeifer ranks fourth in Div. II in save percentage (.619) and 10th in goals against average (8.0). 

Ranked Team
Regis is ranked No. 17 in the latest IWLCA Poll (see page two). The last time Colorado Mesa faced a top-20 team was a 24-16 loss to No. 3 Lindenwood on March 17, 2016.
