Midfielders
Jessica Cook and
Olivia Hayden were each named to the All-RMAC Preseason Team.
Cook, a native of Las Vegas, Nev., led the team with 59 goals and 69 points. Last season Cook ranked sixth in Div. II in goals per game with 3.86.
Hayden, a native of Denver, finished with 24 goals and 34 points.
National Leader
Colorado Mesa led the nation in points per game with 24.29 in 2016.

Colorado Mesa finished last season ranked third in Div. II in scoring offense at 16.07 goals per game.

Home Field Advantage
CMU posted a 6-1 record at Walker Field last season with its lone loss coming to Regis, 15-12, in its home opener. Mesa's first three games this season will be at home.
Between the Pipes
Jillian Pfeifer returns between the pipes for the Mavericks. The Massapequa, N.Y., native posted a .512 save percentage in 2016, fifth-best in Div. II. She finished with a 10.46 goals against average, third-best in the RMAC.
