Mavericks Welcome Black Hills to Brownson

COACHING
Head coach Taylor Wagner is in his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 118-26 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 63-5 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.

GOOD SHOTS
Colorado Mesa is 9-0 when shooting over 45 percent in a game. In contrast, four of their six losses have come when their opponent shoots over 40 percent in the game.

RMAC LEADER
Senior Bryanna Adams still leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in scoring at 17.3 per game, but her lead has shrunk. She leads by just .2 over Tuliesu Anderson of CSU-Pueblo.

ACADEMIC HONOR
Bryanna Adams earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors for her work on the court as well as in the classroom. Adams has a 3.62 GPA and is earning her degree in Kinesiology.

NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS
The Mavericks checked in at No. 10 in the first official NCAA South Central Region Rankings. The top eight teams move onto the NCAA Tournament from the final rankings on March 6.

STANDINGS
Colorado Mesa dropped a spot to third place, one game behind UCCS. They have secured a spot in the RMAC Tournament and have a one-game lead on both Fort Lewis and Regis for the final host playoff spot.

UP NEXT
The Mavericks will conclude the regular season with a pair of home games starting on Friday against New Mexico Highlands and concluding on Saturday against nationally ranked CSU-Pueblo.
