Box Score ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Colorado Mesa opened the season on Friday night with a dominating performance, beating Notre Dame de Namur 26-4 at Aliso Niguel High School in a non-conference matchup.
The Mavericks improve to 3-4 in season openers since the program began in 2011.
Senior
Steve Brandenburg paced the Mavericks with seven points with four goals and three assists while
Reece Callies netted three goals and assisted on four others.
Scott Foster finished with a hat trick as well.
Goalie
Remi Reeves picked up the win in net, recording 30 minutes of game action, making six saves.
The Mavericks move to 1-0 on the season while Notre Dame de Namur picked up their first blemish and sit at 2-1 on the young season.
Colorado Mesa will conclude their California road trip with a matchup with Division III Whittier College on Saturday at 2pm.
