ALAMOSA, Colo.— The Colorado Mesa University women's swimming team won all 11 events and went 1-2-3 in three of them en-route to a convincing 144-56 victory at Adams State University, Friday in the Grizzlies' Plachy Hall Pool.

Maddie McClain, who won both the 1,000 and 500-yard freestyle events, and
Danielle Jefferies, who took both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke events were double winners for CMU, which improved to 3-0 in RMAC duals heading into a Saturday morning encounter with Western State Colorado University in Gunnison.

McClain won the 1000 free in 11 minutes, 0.56 seconds finishing ahead of teammates
Isabelle Hansson (11:23.65) and
Katelin Staab (11:32.16) in the first of the sweeps. McClain then came back to win the 500 in 5:20.36.Â
Grace Payton and Hansson, who exhibitioned that event, also touched ahead of the first Grizzly.

Meanwhile, Jefferies touched in 58.69 seconds in the 100 fly and 1:09.12 in the 100 breast.

The Mavericks' other 1-2-3 sweeps came in the 400 IM and 100 free. Payton was victorious in the 400 IM with a time of 4:48.93, finishing ahead of
Candice Rosen (4:59.22) and
Haley Fellows (5:06.21).Â
Maddie Pressler led the Mavericks in the 100 free with a mark of 55.60 seconds, out touching teammates
Natalie Saul (55.68) and
Noel Scott (55.83).

Other winners for CMU include
Sierra Forbord in the 200 free (1:58.50),
Megan Sirijariyavat in the 50 free (25.20) and
Celine Sargis in the 100 back (1:00.36).

The Mavericks' also won both relays taking the 400 medley in 4:06.29 and the 400 free in 3:41.91.Â
