Mavericks Trek to South Dakota

COACHING
Head coach Taylor Wagner is in his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 114-24 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 63-5 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.

400 WIN PLATEAU
Colorado Mesa picked up their 400th Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win on Friday night when they defeated MSU Denver 77-65 in Brownson Arena.

PERFECT
Junior forward Ma'ata Epenisa is shooting 70 percent from the floor on the season. She would rank No. 1 in the RMAC but is just short of qualifying with 70 made field goals.

ADAMS
Senior Bryanna Adams continues to pour in the points this season. She leads the RMAC in scoring at 20.1 per game and threes per game at 3.6 per game. She ranks No. 2 in Div. II in threes per game and No. 3 in total three-pointers made.

STANDINGS
Colorado Mesa moved into third place in the RMAC standings after the weekend sweep of MSU Denver and UCCS. They are just a half game behind second place Regis and three games behind first place CSU-Pueblo.

UP NEXT
The Mavericks will host a midweek matchup with Western State on Tuesday followed by a single weekend matchup with Westminster.
