Head coach
Taylor Wagner is in his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 110-24 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 61-5 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.
VS. COLORADO MINES
Colorado Mesa has won six of the last seven matchups with the Orediggers. The lone loss came last season at Lockridge Arena where Mines eeked out a 63-60 overtime victory. Mines finished the game on a 6-1 run with under a minute to play.
VS. COLORADO CHRISTIAN
The Mavericks have struggled on the road against Colorado Christian in the past five seasons. They have posted one win in those five seasons, that came in 2014 on a Sharaya Selsor buzzer beater for a 67-65 win.
BRY
Senior
Bryanna Adams has recorded both Maverick double-doubles this season. Last weekend, she posted 18 points and 10 rebounds in the loss to Regis. All of her points came in the second half, going 10-for-11 from the free-throw line.
BALL SECURITY
Colorado Mesa leads the RMAC in fewest turnovers committed at 178 (13.7 per game). Regis is second but have committed 30 more turnovers then the Mavericks.
UP NEXT
The Mavericks will return home for a pair of games against MSU Denver and UCCS. Colorado Mesa fell to MSU Denver 67-57 before the New Year in Denver.
