LAST WEEK
Amanda Wenzel got her second goal of the season to lead Colorado Mesa to a 1-0 victory against University of Colorado – Colorado Springs Friday (Sept. 23) in conference play. Halie Bergeron gained her first goal of the season to lead the Mavericks to a 1-0 victory over the Western State Mountaineers Sunday (Sept. 25) in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.

THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS
The MSU Denver Roadrunners improved their overall record to 3-3-2 and 2-2-0 in conference play after their game against Fort Lewis this last weekend. The Regis Rangers are 2-5-1 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play coming into this weekend. 

LAST YEAR
Since 2014 the Mavericks have gone 1-3-0 with MSU Denver with the one win a shutout. The Mavericks are 0-1-2 against Regis since 2014.

IN THE RMAC 
The Mavericks are in good standings in a few catagories within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. CMU is third in goals allowed with an 0.50 percent and in shutouts with five. The Mavericks are tied for third overall with Adams State and Colorado Christian University. Amanda Wenzel is second in shots per game with an average of 3.67. Janelle Richmond-Buccola is third in goals against (0.38) and save percentage (.929).

INDIVIDUAL LEADERS
Amanda Wenzel leads the Mavericks with two goals, 22 shots, and five points. Janelle Richmond-Buccola leads with three shutouts and a save percentage of .929.

MAVERICK WINS
In both conference wins the Mavericks have been leading at halftime and have out shot the oppenent.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Mavericks will travel to Colorado Christain University Friday (Oct. 7) and Colorado Mines Sunday (Oct. 9) next weekend.
