Box Score GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa men's lacrosse team earned a 16-4 win on senior day Sunday (April 24) against Adams State at Walker Field.
Adams State struck first in the first period, however, CMU would score five straight to answer back and take the lead at the half 6-2.
Colorado Mesa would score five straight again to start the second half and would close out the game scoring four straight to win.
Shots favored the Mavs, out shooting the Grizzlies 49-21.
Colorado Mesa had 31 shots on cage compared to the Grizzlies 14.
Ground balls favored Colorado Mesa 17-12.
Man-down for CMU was flawless killing off all five ASU extra-man attempts.
Colorado Mesa had 14 players with at least one point.
Steve Brandenburg led the Mavs in points with four.
Reece Callies led the Mavs in goals with three.
Zach Weaver started for the Mavericks making seven saves and allowing four goals.

Nikolas Lund-Murray saw a little playing time in net with each combining for three save.
