Senior shortstop Makayla Kovac set the Rocky Mountain Athletic career record for RBIs with 216 against CSU-Pueblo. She passed Kaitlynn Barnes' (2009-12) record of 213 RBIs. Kovac is also approaching the RMAC career record for home runs. Kovac is two home runs shy of tying the record of 56 set by Kaitlynn Barnes of Western New Mexico and Jennesa Tesone (2008-11) of MSU Denver. Kovac leads the conference in home runs with 10 this season.

Colorado Mesa ranks ninth in Div. II and leads the RMAC in batting average at .346. Alexandria Dufour leads the Mavericks and ranks second in the league with a .471 batting average.
