Box Score Box ScorePUEBLO, Colo. – CSU-Pueblo outscored Colorado Mesa 13-8 in the overtime period to secure a 65-60 win over the Mavericks on Tuesday evening in Massari Arena in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout quarterfinal game. 
CSU-Pueblo ended the first quarter on a 9-1 run that covered the final 4:47 of the quarter. The Mavericks lone points in that stretch came from an 
Ashley Stevens free-throw. 
The Mavericks scoring draught reached seven minutes and 42 seconds before 
Bryanna Adams hit a running bank shot to make it 31-13 with 2:51 to play in the half. 
Colorado Mesa closed out the half on a 10-2 run cut the lead to 33-21 at the break. 
Jerrilyn Maluyo hit a three with two seconds on the clock for the final points of the run. 
The Mavericks came out on a mission in the second half, outscoring the ThunderWolves 19-7 in the third quarter. They started out the quarter on an 11-4 run and shot over 42 percent in the quarter and limited CSU-Pueblo to 15 percent. 
Colorado Mesa opened the fourth quarter on a 7-0 run. But, CSU-Pueblo battled back to tie it up at 52-52 sending the game to overtime. 
After a see-saw first three minutes, CSU-Pueblo led by four at 61-57 and the Mavericks could never recover. 
Junior 
Bryanna Adams finished with a game-high 17 points and played most of the fourth quarter and overtime with four fouls. Adams was 7-of-12 from the field and 2-for-4 from beyond the arc. 
Sydney Small finished with 10 points and tied for the team high with seven rebounds. 
CSU-Pueblo's Mariana Lambert set a new career-high with 16 points to lead the Pack. 
The Mavericks season ends with a 17-10 record.
