Start the Season off Right
Colorado Mesa looks to start the season off with a win against Westminster on Saturday (Feb. 20). The Mavs come off of a 10-3 record last year while going perfect in conference play with a 6-0 record. The Mavs won their last game of the season, beating Rollins 11-3. Notable stats from the last season, the Mavs averaged 14.85 goals for, and had a shooting percentage of 32.5%. The Mavs outscored opponents by 68 goals last season as well.
Strength in the WILA
Colorado Mesa was hot in conference play, winning all their conference games home and away last season and were crowned conference champs of the WILA.
Moving on to the RMAC
Colorado Mesa Moves on to a new conference and new competition for the 2016 season. The Mavs join the RMAC conference where they will face Westmister, Rockhurst, Adams State and CSU-Pueblo.

In the January United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association preseason national poll the Mavs were ranked tied for15th with Pfeiffer.
Notable Players
David Solomon lead the Mavs in assists and points with 30 and 53 respectively and holding a 4.07 point per game average. The Mavs had five players sitting above the 25+ point mark. The Mavs also had three players with 20+ goal season.
Between the Pipes
Zach Weaver lead the team with a goals against average (GAA) below 10 with a 9.52 GAA and holds a 52.4% save percentage. He finished the season with a record of nine wins and three losses.
