GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University men's tennis team split a pair of matches Friday (Oct. 7). Colorado Mesa defeated Colorado Christian 9-0 and fell to CSU-Pueblo 5-4.
Cody Freischlag led the Mavericks with a 2-1 record on the day. He need three sets (6-7 (5), 6-4, 10-8) to win at No. 1 singles against CSU-P. Freischlag and
Nicholas Farmen won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles against CCU but fell 8-5 against CSUP.
Max Lindqvist won 6-2, 6-3 over Ryder Searle of CCU at No. 1 singles, and won 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 against CSUP.
Colorado Mesa will host MSU Denver Saturday (Oct. 7).
